...and so begins the Serpent Gates! This series is truly delightful and won't leave me alone. It's got a cool sword girl raised in a death cult! who's in love with an extremely repressed magician girl! and her pseudo-dad is even (spoiler alert?) an evil wizard! Also there are snakes, and Talasseres! The only bad thing about this series is that there are only two (2) books in it when there should be five million.
